Brandon Jennings EXPLODES for 55 points to beat the Warriors !

Its a new generation for the new Bucks, and Brandon Jennings is the center piece.
I have never been apart of such an exciting, engaging, unbelievable performance as I witnessed last night at the Bradley Center. Mr. Jennings is the real deal and Bucks fans everywhere should be excited because this is exactly what the franchise needs right now. Bucks are back on the map !!!!!!

Bucks finally part with Ramon...

Ramon Sessions is a Minnesota Timberwolf. He will be battling Johnny Flynn for the starting PG position.......and Rubio might pop up for the fight too, who knows his deal.
Bucks fans will miss Ramon, but the break-up wont sting too much due to our amzingly talented, but young, new PG Mr. Jennings. I wish the best for Sessions as he is a stud ! The Bucks face the T-Wolves for the first time on December 6th, and it will be great to see the new PG's of the NBA go at it. Brandon, now the pressure is on, don't let us down !

Schedule Change due to Mr. Favre

Favre has so much power its scary ! The NBA had to switch the Bucks @ Timberwolves game from October 5th to October 4th because there won't be a person from media at the game because Brett Favre has the spotlight on the 5th to see if he can get a little revenge against the Packers.......fun.

Bucks on bottom of list for most valuable teams.....

Not the type of articles I like to come across, but its always interesting to see the numbers and hear what Jim Mcllvaine from 540 ESPN has to say about various topics. Check out his blog along with others...............

Breaking News !

http://thestar.blogs.com/raptors/2009/08/so-long-carlos-and-roko.html

Amir Johnson and Sonny Weems will be traded to the Toronto Raptors for Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic.

I liked the idea of having a deep front court presence with Hakim and Amir.......Delfino is smaller and plays the 3 and 2 sometimes and it might hinder Meeks' minutes.......but we shall see how this unfolds.

CV checks in.........

CV31 "Hey guys, I'm back in Milwaukee now. Fans showing me love in the airport. I miss the city, great people! Getting things sorted for my move."

We'll miss you Charlie V. Except when your caught like this:

Confirmation on Bogut

"Jeff Macy, Bucks S&C coach, flew 2 Australia 2 check on Andrew Bogut. Bogut good 2 go." - Gery Woelfel Tweets @ 4:30pm Monday

Nice to know that our 2 best players will be 100% by the start of the season. We really can't afford any more serious injuries; the Bucks need to prove they BELONG in Milwaukee the next few years to eliminate discussion of moving them to another city.

Young Buck Showcasing a Paramount Pose !!

Brandon Jennings posing for his Panini Trading Card Sunday 8/9/09

Clippers now possible destination for Sessions.....

Gery Woelfel reports that the Clippers are now in the mix with the Knicks on acquiring Ramon Sessions.

"The Clippers would ideally like to include point guard Sebastian Telfair in the deal, and have also tossed out some other possibilities, including a draft pick."

"If the Clippers can't come to an agreement with the Bucks on a sign-and-trade arrangement, there are growing indications they'll extend an offer sheet to Sessions."

"Still, that leaves a couple other important questions. Is L.A. willing to pony up a real asset for the right to sign Sessions long term? And would Sessions really want to back up Baron Davis instead of taking a cheaper deal to start for Mike D'Antoni? "

Bucks Press Conference 8-4-09

Welcome Hakim.........

http://www.nba.com/video/teams/bucks/2009/08/04/hakim.pc.090804.bucks/index.html

John Hammond Comments at the Press Conference......

"Hakim is gonna bring energy, athleticism, a guy that loves to get to the boards, loves to rebound the ball. He's added to his game/range, he's able to make that 15-17 foot jump shot now and very effective at getting to the free-throw line."

"It doesn't hurt that we have Brandon Jennings here. He (Hakim) looks at a young point guard that says I know if I run the floor, he'll get the ball to me in transition."

--> Brandon Jennings and Hakim Warrick have the same agent, Bill Duffy. Coincidence or Duffy formulated ?

"In summer league Brandon showed that he has good floor vision, but more important than that I think he showed that he's very willing to share the basketball and wants to share the basketball."

"Exchanged a text with Michael (Redd) yesterday and he still feels great and ahead of schedule............Michael will be 100% and Andrew (Bogut) no question whatsoever will be 100%."

One glance at last year’s schedule was all Milwaukee Bucks coach Scott Skiles needed, and he knew a major challenge faced his team with 20 of the first 33 games on the road. The Bucks went 15-18 during the first two months on the way to a 34-48 finish in their first season under Skiles.

Next season a more balanced start could help a young Bucks team as it plays 16 of its first 30 games at home over the first two months.

"It looks to be much more balanced," Skiles said Tuesday. "Everybody plays 82 games, 41 on the road and 41 at home. But you hate to have the wild swings we had last season.

"Now the home and road games are spread out. This is a very balanced and fair schedule for us."

The Bucks released their 2009-’10 schedule today, and a few things stand out. In fact, let’s count 10 interesting tidbits about the Bucks’ 42nd season in Milwaukee:

1) Quick Six: The Bucks will play six consecutive home games in November, beginning with a Nov. 7 matchup against the New York Knicks, and will be at home for seven of their first 10 games.

2) Charlie V returns: It won’t take long for power forward Charlie Villanueva to return to Milwaukee for the first time since joining the Detroit Pistons as a free agent during the off-season. Villanueva and the Pistons will be at the Bradley Center for the Bucks’ home opener on Halloween Night, one night after the Bucks tip off the season at Philadelphia.

3) Thanks, Packers: The Bucks will host a 2 p.m. Sunday game against LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Dec. 6. The rare December matinee is made possible by the Green Bay Packers playing a Monday night game on Dec. 7, when they will host the Baltimore Ravens.

4) Come on down, Kobe: Bucks fans had to wait until April 1 to get their chance to see Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers last season. This time, Phil Jackson and the defending league champs come to Milwaukee before Christmas, on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

5) RJ’s turn: Richard Jefferson made a strong impression in his one year with the Bucks. His only visit to Milwaukee next season will come on the night after Christmas, along with teammates Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs.

6) Rivalry time: Skiles’ former team, the Chicago Bulls, will be in Milwaukee on Nov. 30 (Monday) and Jan. 8 (Friday). The Bucks will play in Chicago in the season’s third game, on Nov. 3, which will give rookie point guard Brandon Jennings his first chance to go against reigning NBA rookie of the year Derrick Rose.

7) Road work: There’s always one big road stretch, it seems, and the Bucks head west for a six-game trip in mid-January. The journey starts with a Sunday night game against the Lakers in Los Angeles on Jan. 10 and ends with a Martin Luther King Day matinee in Houston on Jan. 18.

8) D-Wade sightings: Former Marquette star Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat play in Milwaukee twice, on Jan. 30 and March 26, and both are weekend dates.

9) New York, New York: The Bucks play the Knicks at Madison Square Garden twice in February, and Milwaukee is on the road for nine of 14 games that month.

10) Last call: The Bucks play two of their last three games against the Boston Celtics, featuring former Bucks star Ray Allen. The season finale is April 14 in Boston.

The Bucks will play three home Sunday matinee games and again will start weeknight games at 7 p.m. and weekend games at 7:30. The home game against Orlando on Nov. 28 is an 8 p.m. start.
